Originally from Malvern, Iowa, Hertz has spent the last 25 years as an audio engineer, music producer, videographer and projection mapping artist in Nashville, Miami and Los Angeles. With over 800 projects published, Kent has established his position in the industry, teaming up with such artists as Julio Iglesias, Godsmack, Missy Elliott, Lauren Hill, Steve Miller Band, Beyoncè, Lonestar and Toby Keith. Recently, Hertz moved his production company (Hz Productions) back to the midwest, where he helps encourage and develop local talent. Kent continues his work with artists worldwide.
Whether working alongside music icons or up-and-coming independent acts, producer Kent Hertz’s earnest approach to artist development has made the young Iowa-native a highly-sought-after talent in Hollywood and abroad. Wielding a keen ability to spot talent, an unyielding devotion to his artists, and an arsenal of production experience, the producer’s past works span the genres of rock, pop, and country - with Grammy-nominated albums to his credit.
